Reason 1: Free Communities Suck

I’ve mentioned before that I am craving more interaction on things like my podcast episodes, on Instagram and in general. I started a free community, 4,000 people joined and honestly? It sucked (not totally, but people weren’t properly invested). I have realised that that REAL community is best cultivated in paid containers; and so I am intentionally growing a community of people all with a similar endgame in Lifestyle Business School.

Reason 2: I’m Realistic About the Journey

I talk a lot about wanting to work with business owners who aspire to a Lifestyle Business Sweet Spot endgame. Equally? I am honest about the journey; this is not a place where I promise passive income and pina coladas. Lifestyle Business School is strategically set up to enable current and aspiring expertise-based business owners to have access for AS LONG AS THEY NEED. We want to be with them the whole way; and I wanted the container to allow for that.

Reason 3: Finding People with a Common Endgame Matters

I spent a good couple of years of my business journey chasing someone elses dreams. I joined a $30k AUD mastermind and the founders endgame at the time was completely different to mine (my lack of self awareness, not their ‘fault’ to be clear).

I wanted to create a space where people who intentionally desire a lifestyle business (and are still ambitious enough to work for it) could be in a space with others that have a similar endgame to learn from and collaborate with.. without paying $30k for the privilege.

Reason 4: This is Truly a One-Stop Shop

Originally, my plan was to sell the programs inside of Lifestyle Business School for $2,200 each (you can still buy them separately for that – sales pages coming soon!). But honestly? I want a simple business. Having everything in one place, all structured in a roadmap style format with 90 day “projects” to work on means that my members don’t need to buy ten different programs, try to piece things together or wonder what they are missing. EVERYTHING will be included in Lifestyle Business School. This is a test and a risk, I may be leaving lots of money on the table but it feels right and so I’m going with it.

Reason 5: This Will Not be a Vanity Launch

One thing I know for sure? I won’t be talking about my $400k launch or similar after this (as I have in the past), because it won’t be that. It will be tempered, and the income will be monthly recurring revenue rather than a big cash injection that looks good on paper. The continuing revenue be reliant on providing stellar content and resources, and I felt confident in my ability to deliver that.

I want to model a simple, sustainable business that feels good, and that doesnt mean huge peaks and troughs. I will share what worked and what didn’t in this regard inside the membership, and I think that in itself is valuable…

Reason 6: I Can Build This Up Over Time

I wanted to make the offer so irresistible that people would SEE the value immediately, which will allow me to build the offer without relying only on flashy live launches to draw people in. My goal is to make this so good that people are talking about it everywhere, and having a membership style offer FORCES me to make sure its world class.
